1960s Russian Fedoskino Lacquer Box Firebird Ivan Tsarevich 
 
An antique Russian hand-painted lacquer box, made in the Fedoskino village circa the 1960s, with a depiction of a Russian fairy tale character FireBird, Ivan Tsarevich, and the Grey Wolf. Beautifully painted with the use of silver and gold leaf which produces a 3-dimensional fluorescent effect. Great attention to detail, bright vivid well-preserved colors. 
Great condition. 
Box measures 6 1/4" by 2 1/2" and is 1 5/8" deep.
